Welcome to NDSL's home on the web!
5/15/2013  Soccer field maps for all playing locations but West Fargo can be found under "Documents".
The West Fargo complex is located at Scheels Soccer Complex, West Fargo, 1010 13th Avenue West, West Fargo, 58045.  West Fargo does not have a playing field map to offer at this time, but offers to post maps at their complex, and assures that their playing fields are easy to find.

5/3/2013  2013 ND Soccer League team coaches and team managers must register now for the 2013 ND Soccer League season.  Select "REGISTER NOW" to the right to do so.  Failure to register will prevent you from receiving automated game schedule reminders and game schedule changes, etc..

Referees are also encouraged to register at this time.  Referees under the age of 18 must have their parent or guardian register for them as required by this website.

The draft game schedule is complete for review and approval by the 5 clubs involved, and possible addition of a girls u10 team that would alter that division's schedule.  League games start the week of May 20!

4/9/2013

Dakota United Soccer Club, Greater Grand Forks Soccer Club, Jamestown Soccer Club, and Minot Soccer Association return for a third season of League Soccer in ND.  Further, we welcome back the West Fargo Soccer Club to NDSL for 2013.  To date these five ND clubs have submitted 54 teams to play in NDSL's 2013 season.

I am also pleased to announce that we are adding a U9 age division to our League this season.  This will give younger soccer players in ND another option to appreciate the sport.

The NDSL season will run mid-May through July.  Games will be scheduled for both weeknights and weekends.  Most weeknight boys games will be played on Tuesdays, and most weeknight girls games will be played on Thursdays.

Saturday Jamborees are scheduled for Bismarck June 8 (DUSC, Minot, West Fargo attending), and for Jamestown June 22 (Jamestown, DUSC, and Grand Forks attending).  Jamborees are intended to allow games between teams that are too far apart to play on a weeknight.  They will be scheduled to allow teams to travel to a town for two Saturday games and then return home without need for overnight stay and the expense that entails.  Each Jamboree will bring together three clubs with the objective of getting two games/team.  Some teams from other clubs may be invited to participate as needed to fill the schedule.

Each team in a division will be scheduled to play every other team in that division at least once during the regular season during which standings will be kept.  These standings will determine seeding at the NDSL Championship Playoff in Grand Forks the weekend of July 27-28.

This is Gene Grugel, your 2013 NDSL Commissioner, and I look forward to helping provide an enjoyable and quality soccer experience to every player, team, and club this summer.

NDSL WEATHER CANCELATION POLICY
posted 3/30/2013 by GENE GRUGEL

Weather Cancellation Policy
The decision to cancel or postpone a game because of bad weather must be made hours in advance so that parents, players and coaches do not have to drive needlessly.  It is recognized and accepted that games will be cancelled that could have been played due to improving weather conditions.

The following League representatives are responsible for game cancellations in their town due to weather:

Bismarck--Jeff Jensen
Grand Forks--Erik Myrold
Jamestown--Gene Grugel
Minot--Michelle Weishaar
West Fargo--David Fenelon

These League contacts will be listed on the home page by clicking on the "Contacts" or "Team Contacts" links in the left-hand column.

Game cancellation decisions must be relayed to NDSL Commissioner Gene Grugel immediately so that he can update the website and send notice to referees.

Away teams have the responsibility of contacting the home team representative(s) to determine if a game should be played.

All weather-related cancellations should be made up, if possible.  It is the responsibility of both teams to search for a mutually agreeable date, time and venue for re-scheduled game.  Once agreed upon, contact NDSL Commissioner Gene Grugel to update the website and referee schedule.
NDSL OPERATIONS INFO FOR TEAMS AND REFEREES

Field Locations  The addresses and directions to all fields will be listed for each game.  Teams and referees should arrive early enough to find the correct field at a location unfamiliar to them.

Referee Payments are covered elsewhere on this website; including the fee schedule and schedule for payments.

Hosting clubs are responsible for field preparation including corner flags, painting, goals, goal anchors, etc.  This applies to their home games and any neutral site games to be played on their fields.

Game Cards  There are no game cards.  Referees and both head coaches (or their designees) are responsible for reporting all scores and yellow/red cards within 24 hours of the conclusion or cancellation of any game to the Commissioner.

Game lengths are covered by NDSA Rules.  The NDSA Rules manual is posted in the Documents section of the NDSL website.

The NDSL Modified Rules of Play for each age group is posted in the Documents section of the NDSL website.

The USSF Referee Administrative Handbook is posted in the Documents section of th NDSL website.  The handbook covers the assignment of referees and contingencies if referees or assistant referees do not show up for games.

The NDSL website has a good deal of information including procedures for weather-related modifications for neutral site games, etc.  Please check back regularly for important league information.
